Coping with Manipulative People
A wise man once told me, "There are givers and takers in this world. If you are a giver and you are in a relationship with a taker, chances are: you will be taken advantage of."
Manipulative people will take your time, your pride, your money, your friends, and anything else they want. They can leave you tired, miserable, bitter, angry, depressed, anxious, and above all they can leave you blaming yourself for the hell they put you through.
If you feel like you are being manipulated in a relationship, get out, get help and support from others. Manipulative people tend return to take more and more of what they want. Tell them to, "Hit the highway, get out, get lost." If they won't leave you, then you must leave them.
